The Old 'Cold'

I was digging my old archive and i found this, an artwork from my freshman year's assignment.

This wasn't the best work but it was one of my favorite artwork back then. I called it 'a Cold Harmony' and it's a part of my 'Nirmana' class.  

Then i tried to recalled some of memories from that time. It reminds me of our joyful and innocent year as we start our college life. Right now, we've been already in our last year and struggling to get our bachelor degrees. 

Looking at it, i realized how fast time goes by.

- From 2010 to 2014 -

Taken on April 13th 2014 at Jakarta Car Free Day, Sudirman Business District.

Seeing the blue sky reflected on those skyscrapers, 

wow i feel like a tourist in my own hometown :)

Sweat

By sweating, your body has get rid of those toxins inside of yours.

It's relaxing. When your body goes overheat, sweats help your body temperature to go back to normal.

It's goes the same as problem in life.

Get rid of that toxins from your mind by doing your way of 'exercise'

it could be anything, since everyone has their own way.

So, i'm now currently working on my final project a/k/a Thesis.

And we were supposed to.....do, 4 chapters in two weeks.

I'm not really stuck but i'm just.... 

... at time like this sometimes having a good mood is more important than having an idea.

all i need is just a good mood, a booster.

When i'm in a good mood, i feel like a full charge device.

Rise and Fall

Have you ever think about how strong a Tree is?

Trees in some countries are going through several seasons. They blossoms, but there're times where they have to sheds their pretty leaves in order to keep living, to be able to rise again. It becomes their life cycle. So, do you think human is just like that tree? 

Less is More

or also known as 'Minimalism' in Art, Design, & Architecture. I won't explain by writing a long essay for the definition because Google can explain it for you, better than me. But here's some key phrases that will help you to guess :

"The minimalism is where the subject is reduced to its necessary elements."

“The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak."

"When we narrow our focus, we have greater impact in those areas."

"Where there is too much, nothing stands out."

For some reasons, i have been in love with this philosophy and i've applied this thought on some (most) of my works. The interesting part is when i realized that 'Less is More' is also occurs in reality, in real life..

The less time you've got, the more efforts you would put,
the less spending, the more you would save.

the less something remains, the more you would appreciate,

and the less you complain, the more you would be grateful :)

I have no idea who's Boyce Avenue before,
but once i heard their accoustic covers, i fell in an instant!

Their covers are my current favorite on my playlist haha

Tutorial : Selective Color

Kadang kamera kita tidak bisa dengan sempurna menangkap warna pada objek aslinya, kan?

Salah satu fungsi Selective Color adalah untuk mempertajam warna pada foto sehingga objek dapat terlihat lebih outstanding. Tidak hanya itu, kita juga bisa melakukan sedikit manipulasi warna karena disini kita bisa  bermain dan mengotak-atik warna objek.

For me, autumn is the best season out of all.

The weather is mild and the colors' blend is also nice.
